This is utilizing an Electro-Dynamics, Inc. caliper adapter, either a BF006 or a BF007.

This Porsche Turbo rotor is utilized with an Electro-Dynamics rotor hat, RH-004 or RH-005.

Porsche Turbo caliper template for wheels, early C4's
Print out the above template and paste to a rigid piece of cardboard to check. Rotate to a spoke, or the obstruction closest to the caliper. If you have to lift the template up to clear the wheel, the numbers of "1" to "7" in the wheel's central bore indicate in 1/8 increments how thick of spacer, if any is required.

RH-001 Rotor Hat Adapter (Shown installed above)

Advantages of using a Porsche Turbo rotor with Electro-Dynamics, Inc. rotor hat adapter:
1. More mass to absorb heat
2. More vanes and internal surface area to dissipate heat
3. Drilled holes of the rotor are reportedly cored when cast to provide a more stable grain stucture.
4. A wider swept area is available when utilized with the Porsche Turbo caliper.

Rotor Hats:
These rotor hats are digitally machined to precise tolerances. They adapt the Porsche Turbo rotor to fit the Corvette hubs for the years specified. The rotor hats have special offsets to be utilized with Electro-Dynamics, Inc. caliper adapters to install Porsche Turbo calipers. When assembled with the Porsche Turbo rotor below, the assembly is a bolt on operation. Instructions for rotor installation are included. These rotor hats do not include the rotors or retainers, they are purchased separately.

RH-004: Front rotor hat adapter, steel, for the front of a C4, 1985-1987: $265.00/each
These rotor hats are offset to be utlized with Electro-Dynamics, Inc. caliper adapters, BF-006 and BF-007, for Porsche Turbo calipers.

RH-005: Front rotor hat adapter, steel, plated, for the front of a C4, 1985-1987: $286.00/each
These rotor hats are offset to be utlized with Electro-Dynamics, Inc. caliper adapters, BF-006 and BF-007 for Porsche Turbo calipers. These are the same adapters as the RH-004, but have rust resistive plating.

RH-006: Front rotor hat adapter, steel, for the front of a C4, 1988-1996: $255.00/each
These rotor hats are offset to be utlized with Electro-Dynamics, Inc. caliper adapters, BF-008 and BF-009, for Porsche Turbo calipers,

RH-007: Front rotor hat adapter, steel, plated, for the front of a C4, 1988-1996: $276.00/each
These rotor hats are offset to be utlized with Electro-Dynamics, Inc. caliper adapters, BF-008 and BF-009 for Porsche Turbo calipers. These are the same adapters as the RH-004, but have rust resistive plating.

Rotors and Accessories:
These are the Porsche Turbo rotors that so often praised. They are made for the Porsche Turbo, with precast holes for better grain structure. These are specific for the rotor hats (hub adapters above) to fit the hub of the C4 and C5 Corvette, and have the precision finished rotor faces from Porsche. Note that the plated PR-002 can only resist rusting outside of the area wiped by the brake pads, due to the brake pads wearing away the plating. Instructions for rotor installation are included. Rotors do not include the rotor hats or retainers, they are purchased separately.

PR-001: Porsche Turbo 993 front rotor only, used with Electro-Dynamics rotor hats above: $189.00/each

PR-002: Porsche Turbo 993 front rotor only, plated, used with rotor hats above: $214.00/each
These are the same as the PR-001, but have rust resistive plating.

RET-003: Rotor retainers, suitable for one rotor assembly, unplated. $28.00/kit
The 10 retainers necessary to mount 1 Porsche Turbo rotor PR-001 to either the RH-004, RH-005, RH-006, or RH-007 Electro-Dynamics, Inc. rotor hat. These are only sold with the purchase of a rotor hat and rotor from Electro-Dynamics.

RET-004: Rotor retainers suitable for one rotor assembly, plated. $39.00/kit
These are the same as RET-003, but have rust resistive plating.

ASM-001: Assembly of Electro-Dynamics rotor hat to Porsche Turbo rotor. $33.00/rotor
For those not having the time/capability to do the assembly, the assembly of 1 Porsche Turbo rotor PR-001 to any Electro-Dynamics, Inc. rotor hat. This is only available with the purchase of a rotor hat, rotor, and retainers from Electro-Dynamics. Price does not include the rotors, rotor hats, or retainers, they are purchased separately.

WS-XXX: Wheel spacers for internal wheel clearance to outside of caliper. $XX.00/set of 2
Quoted upon request for specific wheel applications. These are usually neccessary due to upgrade from 2 piston floating (Corvette) to 4 piston fixed calipers (Porsche). Templates will be posted in the future for downloading to check internal wheel clearance.

Caliper Adapters:
These are digitally machined, precision finished, and if required, have been through a heat treating process to enhance strength. Shims, if required, and the necessary hardened bolts are included. No customer machining is required for adapter installation on C4's. Calipers are purchased separately. Instructions are included.

BF-006: Front Porsche Turbo caliper adapters, steel, to the front of C4, 1985-87: $368/set
They require painting by customer. The attaching components have been black oxided.

BF-007: Front Porsche Turbo caliper adapters, plated steel, to the front of C4, 1985-87: $398/set
These are the same as BF-006, but have rust resistive plating on the adapters and attaching components. Inquire for special show polish and/or plating.

BF-008: Front Porsche Turbo caliper adapters, steel, to the front of C4, 1988-96: $408/set
They require painting by customer. The attaching components have been black oxided.

BF-009: Front Porsche Turbo caliper adapters, plated steel, to the front of C4, 1988-96: $443/set
These are the same as BF-008, but have rust resistive plating on the adapters and attaching components. Inquire for special show polish and/or plating.

Calipers and Accessories:
These are the large rigid Porsche 4 piston calipers manufactured by Brembo for the Porsche Turbo 993. No customer machining is required when using the appropriate caliper below with Electro-Dynamics, Inc. caliper adapters, BF-00, BF-007, BF-008, and BF-009

PCAL-001: Front Porsche Turbo caliper for the front of C4, 1985-87: $348/each
Used with caliper adapter BF-006 and BF-007.

PCAL-002: Front Porsche Turbo caliper for the front of C4, 1988-96: $392/each
Used with caliper adapter BF-008 and BF-009.
